- Something to show academic success e.g. GCSE Results
- Photos should include aspects of optimism e.g. colour and high key lighting
- Prefer to choose secondary school > Convenient setting
- A fewpictures on front cover
- No pictures on contents page perhaps a blended logo in the background
- Models/students must be well dressed as they represent the school if I do decide to do model pictures
- Date of issue and issue number should be included
- Website link to encourage interaction on the website and further browsing
- School newsletters usually rushed due to the teachers having little time and energy > Gap in the market for a good school magazine
Preliminary Task Brief
The preliminary task requires that I create an original front cover and contents page for a particular school and present it as a school magazine. A journey of this task should be presented including inspiration, traditional codes and conventions contributing towards the final front cover and contents page. Analysis of the final piece should be included along with what was learnt as a result of the production of this preliminary task.
