• It should be made to look more like a front cover rather than a leaflet
• The handwriting font type is very nice quite classy
• More colour could be added as the background is plain white which is not very eye catching 
• Easy to digest and take in, simplicity makes the magazine far easier to read
• Small details are good such as the; speech marks, alphabet, font, sizes of words and pictures
• Good use of images in that the way they are laid out uses the images to the best method possible

Overall, it is quite reader friendly due to its simplicity and the impression the reader gets from the front cover is quite commendable. 

Contents Page

• Contents page is quite modern concerning the layout
• It is quite unique and different which is one of the contents pages' strengths
• A more colourful background should be considered as it would make the magazine look more appealing
• Same logo and font for the school name which make it more co-ordinated making the school look more organised

Overall, it is very modern and unique does not have the same layout as normal magazines. This makes the school look quite creative and clever.

Contents Page Analysis

Logo

Identical to the logo on the front cover page this makes it the magazine look quite co-ordinated and therefore more professional

Layout

The layout of the magazine especially when the focus is on the words is quite different as in it doesn’t follow the pattern of a normal magazine contents page this makes the magazine have a though provoking effect on the reader which should increase consumer sales

Quote

The quote is taken directly off the school walls which makes the magazine reliable and relevant concerning whether or not a true impression of the school is conveyed. The speech marks makes the contents page look rather classy and co-ordinated with the front cover speech marks and quotes.

Features

The features only include top stories this ensures the reader gets the best chance of being interested in browsing the magazine pages and articles. Also, by filtering the best articles onto the contents page this decreases the amount of text placed on the page and makes the magazine look less informative and far more interactive.

Background

By using the colour white for the background this allows the other colours (school name, school logo and the word ‘contents’) to successfully stand out above all. This makes the reader immediately get the right information about the school without having to deeply scan the pages in order to find this.
