The use of colour by Raygun is a rather unique use which is similar to that of mixed pastel oil shades and colours. The colours used such as green, orange, yellow and red are indeed natural colours concerning our natural world which suggests this same quality with the artist displayed on the front cover. This could also mean the artist may be more of a clean vocalist rather than backed up by many instruments. However, these colours could also mean the opposite which is that the artist is trying to express natural and common aspects of life through their music. This can be seen as inspiration for the genre of gospel music as this genre generally has natural connotations.
